Kurbys Original Music

Hi There!

We were trying  to send Entrys to the Q107 Home grown Contest back in 82.

We sent in some rock songs and I sent in some pre hip hopish type song like The original ”For the Night”—and “Girls I don’t Know”.

I was going to the bars and stuff –Horseshoe Tavern- and heard Level Crossing by Oliver Heavyside

Now they are The Partland Brothers and lately I’ve been watching them as” Smoky Monahan” but without Chris in a lot of Barrie, Ontario Bars.

Unfortunately “The Man” closed down Sticky Fingers where they played and also my favorite Rock bar with great bands and a big dance floor.
